21 months old...

The bird is now 21 months old...going on 5.  In the past month we have seen such a burst of personality in her.  She has a sense of humor that definitely has been passed down from Momma and Dadda.  She sings off key and is quite the chatterbox which unfortunatly comes from moi.  She is saying three to four word sentences which really gets the point across.  Sometimes I think...did I just have a conversation with my toddler?  This is getting too weird!
We have been teaching her to be a little helper and she has caught on pretty quick.  It is a lot more time consuming having her help.  She either likes to stir contents when "Momma cook" or load the dryer describing every article of clothing as we go.  It's worth it though.  My favorite is when she sings "clean up, clean up" while she picks up her toys.
We also have a hungry one on our hands!  The bird doesn't eat like a bird by any means.  It seems like she is always eating.  Miss Mary (at daycare) was shocked one day when M finished three pieces of pizza along with her sides in one sitting.  No surprise here!  They are supposed to pick up a toy and put it away before lunch.  Miss Mary said M races to pick up a toy and is the first one in her seat!  People are going to think we don't feed her!

She always wants to wear her hat and sometimes her coat as well.  Notice her hat is on backwards!
Trying to put undies on (with her pants on).  Both feet went into one leg opening.  It was entertaining watching her run from me.
She likes to accessorize.  I was surprised that she actually matched here!
Sometimes I catch her wearing her sunglasses...just chillin'.  Usually they are upside down!
Getting a little prissy for her britches.  She didn't want to get her hands messy!  Oh dear!
I caught her trying to break out of birdholler before we moved.  Good thing she had the wrong key!
One thing that hasn't changed is her tea times!  Now she has a view of the ducks.  Every once in awhile you will hear her yell, "Hi duck!"

Each week gets a little better in adjusting to all of our new stuff.  She was fine for the first few days in our new condo.  Then, she must have changed her mind because bedtime and drop off became a bit of a struggle.  Finally, after many tears shed, she is getting back to her routine and old self now.  All of the changes will just make her stronger and even more independent.  She's a tough little cookie;)
